Lorenz Harder is a master student at the Management Center Innsbruck (MCI). After his bachelor degree in social work with a focus on child- and youth care at the corporative state university in Villingen-Schwenningen (GER) he continued studying at the MCI and is currently doing the master study program Social Work, Social Policy & -Management.

Before and during his bachelor program he worked in the field of child- and youth care for four years, two of which he spent with unaccompanied minor refugees.

With a lot of experiences in the field of higher education policy Lorenz likes to engage in the representation of interests. His conviction is that the big problems we are facing within in social work, social policy and humanitarian aid can only be solved by continuous communication and the engagement of stakeholders and activists.

For that reason Lorenz, and a couple of other students started a campaign which is currently running and shall connect social work students all over Austria and motivate them to speak out against the withdrawal from the UN-migration pact which was decided by the Austrian government in 2018.
