Christopher Tratnik is a 26-year-old student at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna (Universität für Bodenkultur, BOKU). After finishing his bachelor´s degree in Environmental- and Bioresources Management, he is now attending a Master program on water management and environmental engineering.
During his studies Christopher Tratnik volunteered in projects in Tunisia and Colombia  where he was also able to learn some Spanish. After participating in a summer school in Thailand organised by BOKU´s  Centre of Development Research, his interest in development research and humanitarian aid grew even more. Furthermore Christopher Tratnik spent two semesters at the Institute Polytechnique Grenoble in France. In the summer of 2018 he then did an internship with the social enterprise Helioz, where he became involved in the crucial issues of safe drinking water.
