Dieudonné was born on the 14th of March 1967 in Bangassou. After his secondary studies he began his formation to be a Spiritan priest in several countries, novitiate at Mbalmayo (Cameroon) and theology in Paris (France).
Dieudonné Nzapalainga began his missionary life in Marseilles (France).
In March 2006, the Regional Assembly of the Spiritans of the Central African Republic, elected him as their Regional Superior within the Central African Province. On the 26th of May 2009 he was appointed diocesan administrator of Bangui.
