Barnet

Günther Barnet, is Coordinator of the National Security Council in the Austrian MOD, where he is responsible for whole of government process in the field of comprehensive security. He also works in international groups on topics related to the development of comprehensive crisis management concepts. Before 2007 he was political director of a parliamentarian group in Austria and from 2000 to 2003 member and deputy chief of the cabinet of the former Minister for Defence. From 2002 to 2005 he was also member and chairman of a parliamentarian group within the legacy of the federal state and city of Vienna.
