Biljana is working independently in the area of humanitarian aid since over 18 years. She was involved with implementing various programs with community based approach, as for example capacity building projects, including a psychosocial program for traumatized children, women and war prisoners as well as civil society projects. Biljana has worked within different countries, for example in Afghanistan, Kosovo or Ethiopia. There, she gained experience in different positions from different projects and programmes, like for instance being Director of Programs within the International Rescue Committee Afghanistan from 2007 – 2008 or being Field Coordinator within Action Against Hunger (ACF) in Ethiopia from 2010 – March 2012. Her main experiences lie with coordinating and managing different projects, as well as doing social work. Currently, she is involved with the International Rescue Committee in Jordan.
