Jesse Rattan

CARE

Jesse Rattan has worked for CARE in women’s and children’s health since 2001. Her first position with CARE was as health coordinator for CARE Cambodia, and she has held a variety of advising and fundraising positions with CARE since then, always in the domain of health. Her passion has always been for sexual and reproductive health, and is currently the director of a program called Supporting Access to Family Planning and Post-abortion Care, which focuses on increasing access to life-saving family planning and post-abortion care in chronic and acute emergencies. She works with talented, committed and courageous teams in Chad, Democratic Republic of Congo and Pakistan and other acute emergencies to expand these services to some of the most vulnerable women and families in the world. She has a nursing degree from Johns Hopkins University and a master of public health from University of California at Berkeley.
