Bubik

Michael Bubik holds Masters Degrees in Business Administration and Protestant Theology. He has worked for Diakonie since 1985, been responsible for the International Humanitarian Aid work of Diakonie Austria since 2000 and for more than a decade, he has been Director of Diakonie Eine Welt, the organisation within Diakonie which runs Diakonie Katastrophenhilfe (disaster relief), Brot für die Welt (development cooperation), Diakonie Flüchtlingsdienst (refugee service) and Diakonie Bildung (schools and nurseries). He co-founded Oikocredit Austria in 1990 and is the current Chair of the platform Globale Verantwortung (Global Responsibility). He has recently been appointed as a member of the counselling body for the development cooperation of the Ministry of European and International Affairs.
