Anne Street is Senior Humanitarian Policy Advisor at CAFOD, the England and Wales section of Caritas International. Her work addresses a range of issues including humanitarian reform and international humanitarian system change, conflict sensitivity and donor policy towards fragile and conflict affected states, promotion of humanitarian principles, and a focus on country-specific humanitarian crises.
Prior to working at CAFOD she has worked with ActionAid, Progressio and in New York for the Interfaith Centre on Corporate Responsibility, as well a short stint in academia at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. She has experience of living in or working on development and emergency and conflict issues in a number of countries in Africa, Asia, and Latin America and the Caribbean. She holds a bachelors degree from Exeter University in Politics and Sociology and a Masters degree from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
