Tichy-Fisslberger

Elisabeth Tichy-Fisslberger is a senior Austrian diplomat and was appointed Nation Coordinator for the fight against THB in 2009. In addition to this function she holds the position of DG for Legal and Consular Affairs in the Austrian MFA. Her previous career included postings in Dublin, London and Brussels as well as several functions at headquarters focusing on European Affairs, she also worked for the European Commission from 1982-1988. Since 2002 she has been a lecturer at the Diplomatic Academy in Vienna and since 2006 at the University of Vienna. She holds a doctorate in Law as well as a graduate degree in language studies (French, Spanish) from Vienna University.
